As a result, this grade is preferred in applications that need intermediate strength materials. The designations AA1050A, S1B, and A91050 refer to the alloy grade. This grade can be used to make a variety of sheets, including shim sheets, simple sheets, and stucco sheets. Because of the soft nature of the aluminium alloy, making these sheets is easy. Heat treatment may be used to improve the strength of some of the sheets. While magnesium, silicon, copper, and iron are added to increase power, heat treatment is normally preferred.
